Useless and dangerous exercise. There's no need for that load because it doesn't accomplish anything: it neither has the specific speed aspect that a jump has, neither the actual time under tension aspect that a muscle building exercise (regular squat) has. Instead, it puts a ton of pressure on the connective tissues for no gains whatsoever.

You'd be much better served doing more specific speed exercises (actual jumps, depth jumps etc) and traditional strength training.
